- NR3C1 (GR) is sequestered in the cytosol when it is unbound by a ligand. In the presence of DEX that ligates to GR, the activated GR complex up-regulates the expression of anti-inflammatory proteins in the nucleus or represses the expression of pro-inflammatory proteins in the cytosol. Time point 0 of the current timecourse data represents samples before exposure to DEX and therefore no peaks are expected from the ChIP-seq experiments. ENCODE4 pipeline run failed at chip.idr step.
