- The antibody 8WG16 was developed using RNA polymerase (RNA pol II) purified from wheat germ extract. It recognizes the C-terminal heptapeptide repeat present on the largest subunit of pol II. Clone 8WG16 has been used to investigate the role of the C-terminal domain of the 220kD RNA pol II subunit in the formation of the transcription complex.
