- A new secondary characterization is not required as one exists for ENCAB000ALF which is a lot of the same antibody (sc-345). The primary characterization of HeLa-S3 (https://www.encodeproject.org/antibody-characterizations/8669e1b5-2b45-4161-bb3a-8018e9b50deb/) and GM12878 (https://www.encodeproject.org/antibody-characterizations/9bfd88f0-ba04-4a73-b496-45a211139494/) for this lot shows the same banding pattern as the primary characterization (https://www.encodeproject.org/antibody-characterizations/dfb157c6-c237-4ef7-ade2-a793e9a28a3e/).

- This is a new lot of a previously characterized antibody ENCAB000ALF and we think no further characterization is necessary beyond the primary if the banding pattern is consistent with the old.
